Terry Kitchin, Partner
Mr Kitchin graduated from the University of Queensland in 1978 and was admitted as a Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland the same year.
He practiced as a Barrister in the Public Defender’s Officer in Brisbane, as a State Prosecutor in Papua New Guinea and in private practice at Toowoomba before a change of direction saw him admitted as a Solicitor in 1983.
He was a partner in a North Queensland firm of Solicitors from 1988 to 1991 before relocating to Gympie.
Mr Kitchin has gained extensive experience in personal injuries litigation, conveyancing, estates and criminal law.
Mr Kitchin is a past President of the Gympie District Gold Rush Committee, Gympie & District Chamber of Commerce and the Gympie South Lions Club.
John Cartwright, Partner
Mr Cartwright was admitted as a Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1993 and commenced full time employment at Power & Cartwright about that time having been employed on a part time basis prior to then.
Late in 1993, he was admitted as a Solicitor and, in 1997, took over the practice in partnership with Terry Kitchin and Greg Wildie.
Much of his work now involves estates, property and commercial law, mortgages and securities.
Mr Cartwright has an interest in Rugby League touring the UK with the undefeated Australian School Boys in 1986, playing with the Broncos’ Reserve Grade team from 1989 – 91 and coaching the Gympie Brothers A Grade squad.
Jack Cartwright, Consultant
Mr Cartwright was admitted as a Solicitor in April 1952 after being articled for nearly five years prior to that. He went into partnership with Frank Power in 1957 until he retired in 1959. Mr Cartwright was a sole practitioner from then until selling his practice in 1997 at which time he was appointed a Consultant.
Rebecca Peters, Solicitor

Rebecca is a graduate of the Queensland University of Technology - Bachelor of Arts (Humanities)/Laws and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. She was admitted as a Solicitor on 9th September 2002.

John Greenhalgh, a partner in that firm has over 10 years experience in commercial litigation, industrial relations including unfair dismissal claims, family law, building disputes and personal injuries.
He is admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
